Comment: At check-out the clerk wished me Happy Holiday and I said Merry Christmas. And she repeated Happy Holidays again and I said can you not say Merry Christmas? And she said they want to be respectful of everyone and she went through some of the different "holidays" this time of the year. And I said but it Christmas! She looked afraid to say Merry Christmas, very sad.

Comment: at checkout the clerk say "happy hollidays" I responded with Merry Christmas and then asked her if she was "instructed" to only say "happy hollidays" and she said it was different with each manager. So didn't mind and some did. So, I encouraged her to say Merry Christmas. So sad to put these clerks in such a difficult situation.

Comment: It's amazing what the "holiday season" does to people. Everyone seems to be a little nicer, more willing to lend out a helping hand. It's all part of the SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS......that's right I said it CHRITSTMAS because that's what it is. This country was built on a Christian foundation so as a result the people who make up our wonderful nation celebrate CHRISTMAS. ...God Bless and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Comment: I only saw one sign in the store that mentioned the word Christmas (in small print), although the majority of gift cards say "Merry Christmas" on them. The employees at the store I was at were very friendly, helpful and courteous, but no one mentioned Merry Christmas.

Comment: I was so thrilled to hear true Christmas Carols being played in the store. I mentioned it to several other shoppers and they were equally pleased. I happily did a large amount of shopping at this store because I was so thrilled with the Christmas atmosphere. Thank you for not giving into ridiculous political correctness and having a backbone.

Comment: Bed, Bath & Beyond not only has a policy that forbids their employees from saying "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays" they actually reprimanded an employee who slipped and wished a shopper Merry Christmas. In their effort to offend no one this Christmas season, they have highly offended me.
